Process to Create an ABC ID Card through Digilocker?

Visit the Digilocker Official Portal

To generate an ABC ID using Digilocker, go to the Digilocker official website. If you are an existing user, click the Sign In button; if you are a new user, click the Sign-UP button.

Step 1 – Login –

Now you must log in to this portal using your mobile number/aadhaar number or username. Enter any one information and password, then click the Sign In button. You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and then press the Submit button.

Step 2 – Search Document –

Search the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) under the Search Documents tab. You can find it in the Education Category and then click on it.

Step 3 – Generate ABC Card –

To generate an Academic Bank of Credits, you must enter your Name (as it appears on your Aadhaar card), Date of Birth, and Gender. Tick the consent box and then click the Get Document button.

Step 4 – View/Download ABC ID Card –

After creating an ABC, you can access it using the DigiLocker interface. You can also share your ABC ID with educational institutions. Digilocker’s Issued Documents Tab allows you to view and download the ID.


Process to Create an ABC ID through abd.gov.in?

Users must first have a DigiLocker account before they may generate an ABC Card using abc.gov.in. If you don’t have a DigiLocker account, you can create one on the DigiLocker website.

Follow these steps to generate an Academic Bank of Credits if you have a DigiLocker account:

  1. Go to the ABC website at abc.gov.in
  2. Select the Student Login option by clicking on the “My Account” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Enter your Digilocker account credentials to log on to this portal.
  4. Select the option to Create an ABC Card.
  5. Choose your university and enter your information before clicking the “Generate (ABC) ID” button.
  6. Your Identification number will be generated and displayed on the screen.

Download the ABC using (Digilocker)

After you’ve generated the Academic Bank of Credits ID, you can download it by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the DigiLocker website or app.
  2. Login to your Digilocker account.
  3. Select the Issued Documents tab.
  4. Select ABC ID Card Academic Bank of Credit from the drop-down menu.
  5. Wait a while for your ID to be fetched.
  6. For the pdf file, click the Download icon.

Download an Academic Bank of Credits using (abc.gov.in)

You can also obtain your Academic Bank of Credits ID from the ABC website. Follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to the ABC website.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Go to the My Account section.
  4. Select the Download ABC ID Card option.
  5. Your ABC Card will be saved on your computer as a PDF file.
